Last week we hosted Askew‘s sold out debut Australian solo exhibition, at The Tate Sydney. Thanks to everyone that came down and met the man himself, who is currently still in town for Wonderwalls and Hit the Bricks festivals.
The show boasted ten beautifully painted portrait pieces and a limited edition zine of 50, which Askew drew in for everyone that purchased. This collection of work is a massive step forward for the artist, having previously stuck to a strict colour scheme, these paintings saw him let loose and get experimental with more effects and colours.
